does anyone know how i can do this for free?

Try typing the number into Google with the dashes.
See if that brings up anything.
There’s a free service at http://www.unitedsleuths.com/reverse-phone.html which searches the likes of Whitepages & Google to bring back what info it can find.
If it can’t find any, it shows you a service which will give you the information but at a cost.
