I get alot of prank texting "when people text you and wont tell you who they are" and it’s very anoying. Is there anyway to do a reverse lookup search on the cellphone number to figure out who it is, like you can do with a home phone.

the only site you "might" find some unlisted number is zabasearch.com….but not always…..my number is unlisted and non-published and its an the zabasearch.com….

Actually, the only way you can do reverse search for free is use Google or Yahoo or MSN.

Type in the cell number

"xxx-xxx-xxxx"

or

"(xxx) xxx xxxx"

You might be able to get the information you want.

Paid results are a bit of risk, but if the company offers a refund policy then you could try it.

I used one such service called http://www.reversecellphonerecords.com -Reverse Cell Phone Records. They have a 56 day guarantee – no results, then get a refund.

But try Google, MSN and Yahoo first. If nothing works out the above is a good place to go to.

I know you can do reverse cell phone number look up in usa but can you do them in UK and europe?

When i went to stay in uk i used to get some prank calls at night, so it would be helpful if i could find out who did it.

I believe someone has gotten a cell phone under my name in another state (I have a very unusual name, no way there is another person named the same as me) and I’d like to find out which phone company the phone number is through. So far I know it’s a cell phone #. I even tried reverse lookup but they didn’t give me the info I was looking for.

ok.. there are a couple of ways to check this out but this one will probably work the best. It does involve some leg work on your part. Start by calling "the biggies" i.e. Verizon 18009220204 customer service, give them the # they will then ask for the name and the last 4 of your social for verification. Right off the bat, if the number is NOT theirs, it won’t populate in their computer system, in fact I think when you call, you’ll get an automated lady… punch in the the cell #… if it’s VZW, you can proceed, if not the automatron will say "sorry… etc" Then call AT&T 1-800-331-0500 go through the same process… in fact, I think on the verizonwireless.com site, you can type in a number to see if a customer is "in" That will at least confirm if it’s a vzw number. Call Sprint, etc repeating the process as you go… So, once you’ve figured out which carrier it is, you can request a cust service rep transfer you to the fraud department to report this…

This number keeps showing up on my friends phone bill. She called it, but noone will answer. She went to anywho.com, reverse lookup, but it wouldn’t list who it belonged to. Any suggestions?

It could be an internal line in a company. Call the phone company and ask them to trace the number.

The cost is $50.00 for a yearly membership. There are many out there and I am reading mixed reviews….not using it for stalking, just a way to gather information.
